Box for UM is a cloud-based collaboration solution that allows you to access your content anywhere, anytime.
What Does Box Do for You?
- Transforms the way you store, access, and share files –secure access on any device, no software required
- Facilitates efficient sharing with clients, vendors, or partners in under 30 seconds
- Simplifies your experience with capabilities to create, edit, and comment within Box
- Saves time by eliminating the need for inefficient file sharing methods (no more email attachments!)
- Provides flexibility through on-the-go mobility productivity
Box Drive Capabilities
Box Drive is a desktop application that presents a virtual drive with access to all your Box content (both owned and collaborated). Your Box files do not take up space on your hard drive, but rather remain in the cloud until you wish to open them. Any edits you make will be saved directly back to Box.
You can also mark content for offline use. This downloads the content to your device’s hard drive so you can work on it without being connected to the Internet. Drive automatically uploads the changes you made offline the next time you connect. Unlike working with online files, marking content for offline use does take up hard drive space.
